Turkey dinners, cranberries, candied yams, stuffing, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie and family gatherings - Thanksgiving Day! We understand that the holidays can be a time of happiness and joy for people but are often difficult for ayone who has experienced the death of someone that you have loved. Holidays can bring feelings of sadness, loss and emptiness. Since love does not end with death, holidays can bring a renewed sense of grief - the sounds, sights and smells bring memories of those that are no longer with us. Holidays always bring up memories of times past and memories are the best legacy that exists after the death of someone loved. Don't ignore these memories; share them with your family and friends. Memories are both happy and sad - if your memory makes you laugh, then laugh and if your memory brings sadness, it's ok to cry.
Embrace your memories this Thanksgiving.
